Besiktas 0 - 2 Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor

21.08.2010 - Spor Toto Super League Matchday 2 - Besiktas JK 0 - 2 Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor

Besiktas have disappointed their fans in the first home game of the season. Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor (IBB) scored twice, Iskender Alin in 60' and Ibrahim Akin during extra time. Besiktas' lineup was more than surprising, with Guti starting as substitute and Bobo as well as Zapo watching the game with the fans.

Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor (IBB) is known as an important opponent for the other Istanbul teams. Fans have been protestring Delgado and Nihat, whose gameplay was not convincing at all. They have both been replaced during the game, by Tabata and Nobre respectively. Matteo Ferrari didn't manage to keep up with the quick IBB strikers.

Robinho signs for Beşiktaş

And another source confirms the transfer of Robinho to Beşiktaş!

Manchester City outcast Robinho – the most expensive player in English football history – is close to joining Turkish side Beşiktaş.
The Brazilian, who joined City from Real Madrid for £32.5million in September 2008, has struggled to adapt to English football, and left the Eastlands club to return to former club Santos on loan last season.
Now, after 53 appearances and 16 goals for the Premier League outfit, he will soon officially bring his stay in English football to an end.
Robinho would be the latest big name to join Beşiktaş this summer following the arrivals of his former Real teammate Guti and Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma.
The Turkish giants finished fourth in their domestic league last season, and beat HJK Helsinki 2-0 in the first leg of their Europa League playoff on Tuesday night.

Adebayor and Robinho to Beşiktaş?

Rumour has it that Beşiktaş is interested in Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City. The 26 year old striker is currently playing for Manchester City. It is known that Beşiktaş is also interested in Robinho, another offensive City player. There are contradicting statements made by Beşiktaş insiders, but it is certain that Beşiktaş has offered around 25m € to transfer Robınho. This Bresilian national player is at odds with City coach Roberto Macini, and will most likely be sold to a European team. Beşiktaş is shown to be the most likely destination for Robinho by Skybet, and rumor has it that Beşiktaş has found a private sector sponsor for Robinho's high transfer fee. Adebayor will possibly not be bought, but he first be lent to Beşiktaş for the current season.
